A dinner for two where each course is inspired by a love song and plated to be shared with someone you want to spend time with. Whether it’s First Date, Third Date, Double Date, Newlyweds, Honeymoon Phase, 10 Years Strong, We Knew All Along, Love at First Sight, or In Love Just for The Night, DATE NIGHT at The Mackenzie Room is made for you.
This year The Mackenzie Room celebrates Valentine’s Day all week long because we know lives are busy and babysitters sometimes have their own plans. From February 11th to 17th Chef Sean will be offering his DATE NIGHT menu for tables of 2 ($50/guest with optional drink pairings). Each of the 5 dishes will have been inspired by one of Chef’s favorite love songs and will not yet have been featured on our seasonal chalkboard menu.
A sneak peek at the first course is an Arctic Char Tartar with citrus, sea asparagus, and a crème fraiche ice cream inspired by Thinking of You by Frank Ocean and is appropriately paired with Channel Orange, a pineapple, rye whisky, and cardamom cocktail featuring Odd Society’s Prospector.
Book now because there is no Hallmark Card for ‘I forgot to make reservations.’ Valentine’s Day is Thursday February 14th but come get your romance on all week! February 11th-17th 2019.
