Brunch Chef | The Acorn is hiring a brunch chef to join our small team! The candidate will work closely with Chef Brian Luptak and CDC Devon Latte to create weekly vegan specials, design future menus, run all stations and help maintain kitchen organization. Creativity, communication and a collaborative spirit are a must. This position is anywhere from 3-5 shifts / week with the option of working some evening service shifts. Formal culinary training and fine dining experience is a definite asset. Background in vegetarian cooking is not essential, but respect for good food is everything. Brunch Server / Floor Manager | The Acorn is looking for a professional weekend brunch server / floor manager with exceptional ability in a fast-paced upscale dining environment. This is a key position at the restaurant, working to oversee brunch service with a small collaborative team! You will be comfortable waiting tables, serving all the beverages, hosting gracefully under pressure and charming our customers. Fine dining experience is an asset. Strong respect for vegetables a must. This position can be anywhere from 2-5 shifts per week (3 x evenings, 2 x weekend days). Being a small independently run, progressive restaurant, we pride ourselves on having a collaborative, team-driven environment and you will need to share this philosophy. Must be available to work weekends.
