Goodridge & Williams Introduces Two New Bourbon Barrel-Aged BC Whiskies

The GOODS from Goodridge & Williams

Vancouver, BC | Great whiskies are the product of patience, craft, and passion. Though the years-long wait for the arrival of Goodridge & Williams’ first whisky releases has seemed endless, the rewards have proven to be well worth it.

Western Grains and Northern Grains are exceptionally smooth, rewardingly complex, and a pure expression of the craft distilling art. They’re perfect for enjoying with an ice cube, in a cocktail, or all by themselves.

While they are united by the many ingredients and painstaking craft they share, Western Grains and Northern Grains are distinct in character. Western Grains is distilled from a blend of BC winter wheat, malted barley, and rye, then aged in American white oak bourbon barrels.

Sipping it will uncover flavour notes of new wood, stone fruit, toffee and honey. Northern Grains uses a BC winter wheat and malted barley blend that’s aged for a minimum of three years in American white oak bourbon barrels then finished in Okanagan wine casks for a minimum of 100 days. When in the glass, it reveals flavours of dried stone fruit, toasted wood and sherry.

“We’re thrilled to finally be able to share our B.C. whiskies with spirits lovers,” said Goodridge & Williams Managing Director Adam McDonnell. “Tasting the whiskies as they have evolved over the last three years has been a delicious journey, and we’re incredibly proud of our first releases.”

Made by Goodridge & Williams Distilling, a proudly independent Canadian distillery, Western Grains Whisky and Northern Grains Whiskey are available now in British Columbia. For more information, visit www.gwdistilling.com.
