Beaucoup Bakery & Café Unveils New Holiday Season Delights

The GOODS from Beaucoup Bakery & Cafe

Vancouver, BC | Discover a new showcase full of citrus-infused delights at Beaucoup Bakery & Café (2150 Fir Street) starting Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Following Betty Hung’s French Baking 101 cookbook launch in November, the team is proud to release their winter creations: a Macadamia Grapefruit Paris-Brest, Sunchoke Caulilini Mushroom Tarte, Coconut Lime Pie Double-baked Croissant, and Yuzu Passionfruit Coconut Macaron.

“The holiday season is already upon us and what better way to continue celebrating than with some new menu items,” explains Hung, who co-owns Beaucoup Bakery & Café with her brother Jacky Hung.

“Our theme of winter citrus fruits is inspired by both the warmth of bundling up for the season and the freshness of a crisp snowy morning.”

The Macadamia Grapefruit Paris-Brest ($6.50) features a housemade macadamia praliné, mousseline, fresh grapefruit and zest, and roasted macadamia nuts.

Rich sunchoke cream and chives finish the Sunchoke Caulilini Mushroom Tarte ($4.95), made with roasted mushrooms, caulilini, sage, thyme, and lemon.

The Coconut Lime Pie Double-baked Croissant ($5.50) is crafted with coconut frangipane, lime curd, gingersnap, and meringue kisses.

Two almond macaron shells perfectly frame a trio of opalys white chocolate coconut cream, lemon yuzu curd, and kaffir lime passionfruit gelée in the Yuzu Passionfruit Coconut Macaron ($5.75), which was a guest favourite at the recent EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival.

All Beaucoup Bakery & Café items are made fresh daily and can also be pre-ordered for pick-up in large quantities. Winter items are seasonal and will be available until March 3, 2019. For more information, please visit www.beaucoupbakery.com.

About Beaucoup Bakery & Café | Beaucoup Bakery & Café opened its doors in December 2012, offering French-inspired pastries. The reason for opening Beaucoup Bakery was simple, to leave the world a happier place, even if through something as simple as a cookie. The company’s priority is to put care and pride into everything it does, from the ingredients used and the little details that go into the baking, through to the way the company treats valued customers and friends.
