Sunja Link Body Shoppe Concept Store Opens Today on Main Street

Local clothing designer Sunja Link’s new brick and mortar Sunja Link Body Shoppe concept store opens today (Thursday, November 8th) at 3638 Main Street. The boutique will be open from 11am to 6pm with an official Grand Opening party set to be announced in the New Year.

In addition to her own line of locally made clothing, Link has stocked the shoppe’s shelves with lots of hand-picked, unique and ethical goodies for your home and body that have been sourced from independent makers and designers from around the world. From incense and silk underwear to lip balm and Manuka honey, the thread connecting everything is self-care. The space even has a private “Treatment Room”, which will be used for spa services that include facials, massage, waxing, lash and brow tinting every Sunday and Wednesday, plus massages on Tuesdays.

The small but sunny store was previously the home of shoe shop Umeboshi, which closed its doors in September after 13 years of business. Although we were sad to see it go, we are excited to welcome another independent, female-run shop to the community! Here’s what we saw as they were getting ready for launch…
