Bourbon Dinner at the Irish Heather to Celebrate the Best of Michter’s Distillery

Here at Gastown’s Irish Heather and its whiskey bar, Shebeen, lives one of Western Canada’s best whiskey lists, and we love to share it with people. This event – on October 29th at 6pm – is one such occasion.

Start with Michter-based cocktail in the Shebeen, before being escorted to our 50 ft communal table. Once there, you will receive a flight of 4 x .5 ounce whiskey along with a brief but entertaining description of each. Next comes a main course for supper, followed by dessert. With dessert will be a surprise bourbon from Michter’s line up. The limited release, 5th bottle name is: US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon.

As if this wasn’t already an awesome gig, the final whiskey being served with dessert comes in a branded Michter’s glencairn glass, which guests can take home as a souvenir.

The Michter’s representatives will be Pam Heilmann, Master Distiller for Michter’s, and Tara Lethgo, Pacific Northwest Reginal Manager, both of whom will be will also be on hand to mingle and answer guests’ questions.

The flight line up is: American Whiskey, Kentucky Straight Rye, Sour Mash Whiskey, Kentucky Straight Bourbon and a surprise Bourbon.

TICKETS are $50 including tax and gratuity. That’s for a cocktail, flight of whiskey, chat with distiller, dinner, dessert and a surprise bourbon to finish!
