Gyoza Bar Adds New Menu Items for Last Days of Summer

The GOODS from Gyoza Bar

Vancouver, BC | Downtown Vancouver’s Gyoza Bar (622 West Pender Street) has launched a new midsummer menu to help relish those last days of summer. It features a variety of cold noodles, heat wave bites, and fresh vegetable options – all served with Gyoza Bar’s refreshing beverage list.

“People love hot ramen year-round, but this heat wave inspired me to create some cold noodle dishes to help cool Vancouver down,” says Head Chef Woo Jin Kim. “I’m also a big fan of crispy textures in the summer, something about a cold beer and a crispy snack is just perfect.”

Cold noodle additions include a Cold Ramen ($14) lunch dish featuring chilled shoyu shiitake konbu broth, sous vide egg, kizami nori, and a choice of shrimp or chicken. For dinner, try the Chilled Uni Udon ($19) made with a creamy uni sauce, poached prawns, and green onions, nestled on top a kale and tomato salad.

Heat wave bites include a Soft Shell Crab Karaage with chili tomato scallion sauce, crispy Chicharron with a chili cilantro sauce, and juicy Teppan Pork Mantou Bites.

Other additions include Vegetable Gyoza; Mini Bulgogi Rice Bowl for brunch; and Bistro-Style Tenderloin on the Beef Bao Board with gremolata, kimchi, and gochujang.

For summer beverages, Gyoza Bar continues its daily frozen cocktails flavours: Strawberry Yuzu Pistachio with rosé and gin, and Guava Lemongrass with the Aburi signature Aburi Ginjo sake and lime vodka.

Midsummer menu items are available for a limited time only.

Walk-ins welcome. Reservations are recommended and available at gyozabar.ca.
