Cioppino’s Awarded Three Forks From Gambero Rosso

The GOODS from Cioppino’s

Vancouver, BC | Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill has once again been recognized with a top culinary award, earning Three Forks from Gambero Rosso, the Italian equivalent of the Michelin star.

A leading company within the food and wine industry in Italy, Gambero Rosso is a digital guide of the best Italian Restaurants across the globe. The Fork is closely related with the Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri (Three Glasses) which is awarded to Italy’s best and most distinguished wines.

Symbolized by a spoon and fork, the icon is awarded on a scale of one-to-three. In order to earn a star, a restaurant must represent the utmost of culinary expertise in authenticity, product traceability, service, and depth of the wine list. Inherently, earning a single Fork is an incredible accomplishment, Cioppino’s is the first restaurant in Canada to secure three.

The Three Fork designation follows Cioppino’s first place finish as Best Italian, and second place finish for Best Upscale at Vancouver Magazine’s 2018 Restaurant Awards, and Chef Pino’s recent Knighthood for representing Italian prestige and good relations internationally. Cioppino’s is located in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighbourhood, and is open Tuesday-Saturday for dinner. Boasting an open show kitchen, guests in the full-service dining room are able to watch Posteraro and his chefs at work. The restaurant also has many private dining rooms, and a wine list curated by Posteraro that is host to thousands of bottles, with many rare and difficult to find vinatges.
