Vancouver, BC | Main Street’s new Tocador has two positions currently open, one for the role of Server’s Assistant and the other for Sous Chef. Details for both are as follows:
Server’s Assistant | This position is part time, 2-3 shifts per week, and entails mostly food running and bussing tables. There will sometimes be a need to help out the bartenders as well as the servers. This position is ideal for someone new to the industry that is interested and willing to learn. Opportunity for future advancement is certainly available for the right person. Wage is $12/hr. and a 50% staff discount.
Sous Chef | This person must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Our kitchen is collaborative and continually changing. We use seasonal and local ingredients wherever possible, and will be doing whole animal butchery soon. We are also looking for someone that is excited to cook vegan / vegetarian options and is ready to understand different food restrictions. This is a salaried position (negotiable) that includes a staff meal and a 50% discount.
