Superbaba Food Truck’s ‘Falafel Pop-Up’ Set for Vancouver’s Financial District

In April we mentioned that Victoria’s Middle Eastern-themed Superbaba restaurant was launching a food truck in Vancouver’s financial district this summer. We also teased that they would be doing a pop-up in advance of their officially putting wheels to the road. The date and details of said pop-up have now been revealed. Check it out:

On May 26th, 2018 Superbaba will be taking over Tacofino’s newest downtown location, 122-1050 W Pender Street, for one night. This will be Superbaba’s only appearance in Vancouver before their anticipated food truck hits the road this summer.

The menu will consist of fresh falafel (Vegan!), fried cauliflower, hummus, fries, the infamous turmeric cookie, as well as margaritas and other beverages from Tacofino.

“We are stoked to serve up falafel to all the people who have been asking us to come to Vancouver, and in such a beautiful space created by the Tacofino team.” – Dallah

ABOUT SUPERBABA | Superbaba is a counter-service restaurant that mixes the flavours of the Middle East with the laid back approach of the West Coast. Located in the heart of downtown Victoria, Superbaba offers a fresh and modern spin on classic Middle Eastern favourites with a casual and unconventional brand that blends bold, contemporary colours with traditional design motifs common to shawarma and falafel shops.

Here are the some images of Victoria’s Superbaba so you have an idea as to the food and brand aesthetic…
