Tempranillo Wine Dinner – A Tribute to Paul Bocuse – Set for April 17 in Gastown

The GOODS from Tempranillo

Vancouver, BC | Tempranillo is pleased to announce the return of our special wine dinners. This month’s feast (Tuesday, April 17) is an homage to the legendary Paul Bocuse.

The six-course meal with wine pairings features several of the Lyonnais “Chef of the Century’s” gastronomic classics, including steak tartare with hot consommé, quenelles de poisson (using BC ling cod), cervelle sauté a la niçoise, médaillons de veau, and an amazing poularde de Bresse truffée avec morilles à la crème (a truffle-studded chicken breast with morel mushroom cream sauce and rice pilaf). The dessert course features iced vanilla pudding with preserved fruits, macaroons, lady fingers and grapes, served with a raspberry sauce enriched with crème fraîche.

For information and to reserve, visit our website at tempranilloyvr.ca and click the “Wine Dinner” button.

Please note that due to the cost of the ingredients for this meal and limited seating, reservations with prepayment are required. We use the Tock reservation system, making it quick and easy for you to register.

Once the April 17 event is full, we will accept waitlists (no prepayment required) and will release a second date in the same week if demand is sufficient.

We plan to host these events approximately monthly. For advance notice, follow us on Instagram or Facebook [insert links], or email us [email protected] to request updates by email.

Please join us…we have eggs and lots of butter!
