Sons of Vancouver, Doan’s Bring Back ‘Altaretto’ in Cans, Announce March 3 Release Party

The GOODS from Sons Of Vancouver

North Vancouver, BC | The coolest collaboration cats, aka Evan and Michael Doan of Doan’s Craft Brewing, are at it again. This time they’re bringing back one of the favourites of 2017: “Altaretto”. Some of you may have caught last year’s limited run, but this time they’re bringing it back in some very sleek cans.

It’s a merriment of their dynamite Altbeir, a German style ale, with the apricot and honey goodness of the Sons of Vancouver Amaretto. Surprisingly well balanced and not at all as sweet as you might expect, the great base pale ale brings out the subtle nuttiness of the Amaretto and has a light honey finish for days.

Freshly canned, the Altaretto release party is next Saturday, March 3rd. Conveniently coinciding with SOV’s 3 year anniversary, there will be a keg of it pouring at Sons in North Van all weekend long and 4-packs will be flying out the door at the Doan’s headquarters on Powell Street.
