Don’t Miss Vancouver Band “Belle Game” at The Imperial, Feb. 23

Local band Belle Game are playing a show at The Imperial on February 23rd in support of their second L/P, Fear/Nothing (released last September). It’s a big deal because this is their last hometown gig before heading out on the road as the opening band for Broken Social Scene’s North American tour.

This very well could be the last opportunity to see the indie rockers playing in an intimate venue at a price that doesn’t break the bank ($15!). A friend of mine has been gushing about them for a while now and trying to convince me of the magnitude of this gig since the summertime. After giving their new album a listen, I’m finally understanding her enthusiasm.

Even if you haven’t given Belle Game’s latest release a listen and/or aren’t familiar with their debut, 2013’s Ritual Tradition Habit, buying a ticket for the show is hardly a gamble. Save yourself some serious show remorse and snag a ticket now!

In the meantime, here’s a little teaser courtesy of their latest video for “Low”, which came out last month:

Hit East Van for the 2nd Annual Vancouver Brewers Fest, April 19-28th

Since a single person (and liver) can only handle so many beers and beer-drinking celebrations, some prioritizing is in order. Topping off our list of events is the imminent (and, in our opinion, non-negotiable) Vancouver Brewers Fest.
