Dockside Plans Table d’Hôte Menu, Live Music, 80’s Dance Party for New Year’s Eve

The GOODS from Dockside

Vancouver, BC | Say goodbye to the year past and welcome the year to come with dinner and dancing at Dockside Restaurant in the Granville Island Hotel. The celebrations start in the dining room with a special Table d’Hôte menu accompanied by live jazz and pop by Melanie Dekker and continue with dancing in Dockside’s lounge and celebrations at midnight.

The panoramic windows of the dining provide the perfect setting for a celebratory menu being created by Executive Chef Mark Crofton and the culinary team. Amuse Bouche, spritzer, and housemade Valrhona espresso chocolate truffle enhance the three delicious courses.

When dinner is finished, it’s time to move into Dockside’s warm and welcoming lounge, where DJ Barron S from Girl on Wax will bring back the days of the Granville Island Hotel’s legendary Pelican Bay Nightclub spinning dance hits of the 80s and 90s all night long. The dance party runs from 9:00pm-1:00am and includes a champagne toast and party favours at midnight. Hotel guests can enjoy an extra special New Year’s Eve with two complimentary dance party tickets included with their stay.

The three-course New Year’s Eve menu costs $75 per person, exclusive of taxes and gratuity, and includes complimentary admission to the party in the lounge. Tickets for the 80s Dance Party only are available for $25 each (plus tax and service charges). Reservations can be made by calling 604-685-7070 and tickets for the dance party can be bought at www.docksidevancouver.com.
