East Van’s Harlow Atelier to Transform Into ‘December Kids Market’

Image via Harlow Atelier

For one day only – Saturday December 16th – East Vancouver’s Harlow Atelier is becoming the December Kids Market. This means you can expect a thoughtfully curated and tasteful assortment of locally made items for kids of all ages while sipping on hot seasonal beverages, mingling with like-minded parents and making new friends.

For the goods, think outside of the toy box, though participating vendor Barefoot Toys “stuffies” are both fun and fair trade. We’re talking clothing that kids will want to wear. There’ll be hand knit pom-pom toques by Rain People; two-tone Maryjane and Oxford shoes by Small Lot Co.; beautiful, classic separates by Petits Vilains; and local designer Anara‘s line of understated, eco-lux wares (made for both mom and child).

This will be infinitely more civilized than mall-shopping with kids in tow — a one-of-a-kind family shopping experience that you won’t want to miss!

Sat, Dec. 16 | 10am – 7pm | Harlow Atelier (655 East 15th Avenue) | FREE
