On Wednesday, every JJ Bean barista is on a mission to share the good news of coffee-focused traditional beverages: cappuccinos, macchiatos, and espressos are only $1.50.

JJ Bean’s world-famous, fan-favourite promotion runs from Thursday through Saturday this year, with a +30% bonus top-up on gift card purchases over $20.

Founded in East Vancouver in 1996, JJ Bean opened its first location west of the city on the University of British Columbia campus this summer. Inspired by the concept of cafes as the original universities, JJ Bean UBC is designed for communal and individual study with an expansive outdoor patio, mezzanine, alcoves, and bold, gallery lighting.

The coffee roaster continues to expand into new areas of Toronto as well. Now open at uptown Toronto’s vibrant Yonge & Eglinton intersection, JJ Bean Eglinton continues the company’s philosophy of local and fresh coffee and food. This is the fourth cafe to open in Toronto, and offers seasonal single-origin coffees and signature blends on French press and drip-filter options, as well as a host of classic espresso-forward beverages.

Coffee is roasted to order each day in Vancouver & Toronto, and each cafe makes its food offerings fresh every morning.
