The GOODS from Pazzo Chow

Vancouver, BC | We are a little family in the heart of Chinatown that are passionate about providing our community with delicious and healthy home cooked style food. We are food retail with fresh food to go, a range of retail products and homemade ice cream/treats. We are also a meeting point for people looking to take a break from the hustle of their daily lives; to ‘come home for lunch’ and re-centre themselves. We need someone or a couple people to help out with the front (running the shop and connecting the food made fresh daily in the back with customers). Duties include (but are not limited to) making coffee, serving food, packaging food, handling sales and cash, scooping ice cream, opening and closing the shop.

We are open to training so no experience is required. Applicants must complement and involve many of the following points:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to think ahead and problem solve
• Interest and ability to always find something to do when customer service is not necessary and the shop is slow
• Able to work in a small business environment (lots of changes)

• Knowledge of Italian and/or Chinese languages an asset
• Responsible and diligent about follow through
• Ability to maintain organization and tidiness at all times
• Ability to be easygoing and not take themselves to seriously
• Sense of humour
• Passionate about and interested in the world around us
• Creative background/lifestyle/skills is an asset
• Comfortable working in a female dominant environment

We try to compensate as much as we are able to to make it more possible to live in Vancouver (depending on how much you work).

• Wage starts at $14/hr
• Starts ASAP
• Need to fill time slots Tuesdays-Thursdays 1130-730 & Saturdays
