Vancouver, BC | The popular Oakwood Canadian Bistro is looking for an Executive Chef to take over the kitchen reins . The Oakwood team has a strong tradition of having a talented and creative executive chef and continues to be a destination for diners seeking classic and innovative food year after year.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Executive Chef is responsible for creating and developing food menus, and
management of all aspects of food service and the kitchen. Our Executive Chef is
required to be a hands-on leader in the kitchen and to inspire and lead a creative and
passionate team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Accountable for recipe creation and costing, food ordering, food production, cleanliness and organization
– Oversees labour and food cost
– Creates outstanding customer food experience
– Must have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
– Other duties may be assigned as required
