Linh Truong’s awesome shop The Soap Dispensary is expanding this month. Up until this past winter the dedicated refill store in Mount Pleasant had subleased the space next door (3716 Main Street). When her tenant, a printer, moved to an exclusively online model Linh took the opportunity to further her eco-vision. Rebranded as The Soap Dispensary & Kitchen Staples, the expansion is being designed by Scott & Scott Architecture. The new look will follow the clean, open and straightforward aesthetic of the original space by designer Scott Cohen.
The two spaces will occupy 2,150 sqft and offer everything and anything to assist you in your mission to be more environmentally friendly at home or to achieve a zero waste lifestyle. In addition to their current selection of housewares, cleaning products and fills, the kitchen side will also sell food products to round out your pantry, with an emphasis on carrying as many local suppliers as possible. This will include a selection of bulk foodstuffs like dairy and vegan cheeses, spreads, sauces, pasta, hummus and frozen berries, plus a bar of taps dispensing cooking oils and other essential liquids. We can also expect everything from stainless steel food containers and cool bottles to Japanese kitchen tools, utensils and more. Opening is set for the first week of August.
Please open a shop in the tri-cities! I’ll even be the store Manager 🙂
We would really love to see a Soap Dispensary out this way 🙂
