Sunday Cider Sizzlers Get Set To Return With A Delicious Vengeance, June 3rd

Sunday Cider Party (76 of 121)

There’s a lot to love about summer in Vancouver and growler fills from Sunday Cider is definitely on the list. It’s been a long and difficult seven months since the East Van cidery closed its growler fill station for the season, but on June 3rd they’re reopening their outdoor area to the public for the first of four scheduled summertime Sizzlers. Party and sip on a lineup of old faves and slow-fermented newbs, then fill up your to-go glassware for the weekend’s barbecues and park chills.

Even if you’re a diehard wine-o or a steadfast beer drinker, the lineup of standbys and new ciders are awesome. The lambic-like Sunday Sidra has been oak-aged for over ten months and will make its debut (un)ceremoniously poured from its own barrel. Also making its first appearance will be the Gulf Island Primo – a marriage of BC heirloom and bittersweet apples that’s crisped with Prosecco qualities. Bonus: there will plenty of snacks and tunes from the Pacific Rhythm sound selectors, so the entire family can make like bacon and sizzle. See you there!

Sat, June 3rd | 1-7pm | Sunday Cider (outside) | 1575 Vernon Drive | FREE Admission | DETAILS

Hit East Van for the 2nd Annual Vancouver Brewers Fest, April 19-28th
