The GOODS from Dixie’s BBQ

Vancouver, BC | Beginning Saturday, May 20th, Dixie’s will be offering brunch all weekend, Saturday and Sundays, from 10 am until 5 pm. An extended brunch menu, including burgers and sandwiches, as well as Dixie’s already popular brunch fare, will launch Saturday. Also, effective immediately, Dixie’s will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, instead of Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Wednesday – Sunday will see dinner service from 5 pm onward.

June 1st, Dixie’s will launch its new dinner menu. Still authentic Central Texas BBQ, with slow smoked brisket, ribs, hot links, smoked pork and arguably the best fried chicken in Vancouver, Chef Alex Newton, who replaced Jeff MacIntosh in late March, has embellished upon the first menu, tweaking recipes and repackaging the meat-centric dinner offerings. Owner Shoel Davidson has also added some new verve to the bar program, adding cocktails and whiskey flights. New menus will be available online as of June 1st.

Dixie’s is bringing the authentic BBQ of Austin, Texas all the way up to Vancouver. From mouth-watering, deep-smoked BBQ meats & home-style sides to cold, refreshing beer & southern-inspired cocktails, Dixie’s will treat you to the storied, rustic warmth of true southern hospitality and comfort food. Dixie’s is open for dinner and weekend brunch, as well as being available for private functions and on/off site catering. Co-owned by Shoel Davidson and Christina Cottell, who also own Gringo Gastown, opened Dixie’s in 2015.
