The GOODS from La Taqueria
Vancouver, BC | La Taqueria’s new location on Hornby will celebrate its grand opening this Friday, May 12th. As the largest of La Taqueria’s four existing eateries, the new restaurant seats 90 and also offers counter service for convenient food on the go. Happy Hour will run from 3pm–6pm daily with $4 Margaritas to toast the end of a long workday.
La Taqueria has recently expanded the menu offerings at all locations, with slushie Lime Margaritas available for $7. Seven Burritos have joined the existing menu of tacos and quesadillas, and are substantial meals on their own—weighing in at approximately one pound per burrito—with authentic Mexican fillings wrapped in fresh flour tortillas. An Al Pastor Burrito bursts with robust flavour from tender pork marinated in achiote chilli, topped with charro beans, pineapple, pico de gallo, and chipotle mayo. The vegetarian Rajas con Crema tempts with a straight-from-Mexico recipe of roasted poblano peppers, black beans, chipotle mayo, sautéed mushrooms and kale, topped with mozzarella cheese. Four additional burrito variations include beef, chicken and fish, all filled with rice, beans, and finished with classic toppings.
La Taqueria Hornby will be open Monday-Thursday from 11am-8:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am-late, and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. For more information, please visit www.lataqueria.com.

ABOUT LA TAQUERIA
La Taqueria was born in 2009 as a pinche taco stand that could replicate the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. We make our tacos from traditional recipes with local, organic and sustainable products whenever possible. Our menu offers different types of fillings that can be served as a taco (soft tortilla, made locally) or quesadilla.
