The GOODS from Liquidity Wines

Okanagan Falls, BC | In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Liquidity Wines is proud to announce the launch of a series of exhibits, artist workshops, free events and lectures taking place throughout 2017. Located in the Heart of Wine Country™ in Okanagan Falls, the Liquidity experience extends beyond wine and food; art installations in the vineyard go along with paintings and photographs in the sleek bistro and tasting room.

Guided by his deep-rooted passion for art and culture, Liquidity Wines President Ian MacDonald and his team have brought the winery beyond barrel and bottle, creating an engaging experience for visitors, diners and wine-lovers alike.

Saturday, May 13 marks the unveiling of “The Dinner Party” by Jeff Burgess – the renowned artist and mind behind the massive ensemble painting on display at Liquidity, commonly known as the “Pope Painting.” The anticipated exhibition this spring will reveal Burgess’ latest large-scale piece, which melds ancient mythology with Old Master’s influences along with classic literature and modern symbolism. A walk and talk session at 10:00am will offer guests an exclusive opportunity to meet Burgess and learn about the many layers of meaning behind his work and artistic process.

There will also be special dining events to partake in, including Vine Dining on the Saturday evening at Noble Ridge and Sunday Brunch at Liquidity Bistro.

During this weekend, Liquidity is also proud to welcome Vancouver-based sculptor Marie Khouri for an intimate artist lecture. Khouri represents the broad multicultural diverse demographic of Western Canada, and has developed a vast range of cultural and historical influences within her practice.
