Save On Meats owner Mark Brand is taking his turn to cook the next Greasy Spoon dinner, which goes down December 19th. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, the Greasy Spoon Supper Series invites BC’s best chefs to plate four courses of old school diner fare in their own way in support of A Better Life Foundation. Past participating chefs have included the talented likes of Joel Watanabe (Bao Bei, Kissa Tanto), Angus An (Maenam, Fat Mao, Longtail Kitchen), and Scott Jaeger (The Pear Tree). It’s always a good time and the visiting chefs really love taking a swing at the ‘diner’ concept.
