‘What’s Up? Hot Dog!’ Set To Put On A ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Costume

unnamed-2

Halloween is coming up fast and the good folks at What’s Up? Hot Dog! are preparing to transform their Hastings-Sunrise restaurant into something completely different: Bob’s Burgers! Here’s an excerpt from an email that just arrived from co-owner Matt Hagarty:

We’re doing a 3 day event where we transform the entire shop into Bob’s Burgers (from the Fox cartoon of the same name), like if a restaurant could wear a costume! From noon on Saturday Oct 29 till close on Halloween we’ll have costumed staff, a full menu of burger selections from the show’s collection of pun “burgers of the day” (the Final Kraut Down, Eggers Can’t be Cheesers, etc), and we’ll also be completely changing the signage on the storefront.

I love the idea of restaurants donning “costumes” just for kicks on Halloween. They did this last year and it was a big success, even landing them to the front page of Reddit for a while. Details below.
