Harvest Feastival At UBC To See Outdoor Feast, Lots Of Art, Live Music & More

The new season is coming on strong and that means all the Fall favourites are making their way to our plates. Head down to UBC Harvest Feastival this Thursday evening for an outdoor dinner celebrating autumn’s arrival and an abundance of art around campus. The six course menu consists of everything you’d want to kick off the season including a blackberry beet salad, a pumpkin penne, and a fire roasted peanut butter s’more. If that last item alone doesn’t tempt you to splurge on the reasonably priced tickets ($10-$35) then surely the post-dinner activities will. Wander around the many open galleries, listen to the open rehearsal for the UBC Symphony Orchestra as you let the feast settle, or burn off the calories by laughing at Harvest Improv, an hour-long show featuring professional improv actors and UBC alumni. Whether you go for the food, the entertainment or both, this event is the perfect way to kickstart Fall.
