Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Lobby Lounge Launches New Cocktail-Paired ‘Boozy Brunch’

The Lobby Lounge and RawBar, Vancouver’s hot spot for cocktails, sushi and live music, turns its attention to brunch with the launch of a new weekend boozy brunch service.

For swishy special occasions or the ultimate hangover-cure essential, the five-course Japanese inspired tasting menu combines the best of breakfast favourites and sushi staples that are perfectly paired with a series of exclusive ‘brunch-only’ cocktails. Accompanied with live music beginning at 11:00a.m., this mouth-watering brunch tasting includes the Wild Salmon Motoyaki “Benny” paired with the ‘Pepe Le Pew’ cocktail of Liliet Rose, sherry and sparkling brut and the Bacon and Sablefish Miso Soup is complemented with a ‘Beer Makes Miso Happy’ libation. The brunch with cocktail pairings is available every weekend from 11:00am until 2:00pm for $70.00 CDN, or guests can opt for the brunch-only for $42.00 CDN. Already loved by brunch aficionados, ORU’s weekend buffet brunch offers a wide range of items including house-made bacon and sausage, build-your-own omelet and benny bar, and a weekly rotating carvery station. The mimosa cart makes its rounds every weekend, adding a little bit of sparkle to the delectable line up. Guests can customize their mimosa from a variety of champagne and sparkling wines, accompanied by hand-pressed juices such as Orange or Grapefruit. ORU weekend brunch is available for $38.00 CDN and the mimosa cart is available as a bubbly brunch add-on starting from $12.00 CDN.
