Cougar Hat | Protective Talisman, Practical Garment | If you thought this was going to be about the clichéd hat choices of “single women of a certain age”, you’d be mistaken. A cougar hat is a specialty toque with a pair of bright eye patches sewn into the back so that a mountain lion might think twice about ambushing the wearer from behind. They are crafted by Thasis, BC by artist Tineke Veenhoven. (image via Youtube).

Usage | “If you’re going out alone, don’t forget to wear your Cougar Hat.”
