Vancouver, BC | Bella is a sparkling wine house focused on single vineyard expressions of Chardonnay, a classic Champagne grape, and Gamay Noir, an under-appreciated BC grape. Being BC’s only winery exclusively dedicated to sparkling wine, Bella produces natural sparkling wines of exceptional quality using the traditional and ancestrale methods.

To celebrate Bella’s fifth birthday, we are delighted to partner with Joy Road to provide an exceptional al fresco dining experience under the cherry trees at the private residence of Bella in Naramata, BC on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th.

Joy Road thoroughly embodies “cuisine du terroir” through owners Cam Smith and Dana Ewart, along with Team JRC. Their commitment to using primarily local ingredients to showcase the Okanagan bounty at the height of ripeness, and thus sustaining the farmers and artisans who represent the agricultural heritage of this area, perfectly aligns with the way of life Jay Drysdale and Wendy Rose cultivate at their Bella homestead.

This intimate dinner of twenty guests each evening will begin with a glass of Bella bubble and canapes as we mill under the fruit trees and get to know each other. Then Jay and Team JRC will guide you through a five course meal comprised of local ingredients with each course paired with a Bella sparkling wine. An all sparkling wine winemakers dinner – surely a unique dining experience offered by no other winery in BC.

Bella is a sparkling wine house capturing the natural beauty of British Columbia fruit in every bubble.
