Vancouver, BC | ORU Cuisine at Fairmont Pacific Rim is seeking a talented Restaurant Chef. The lucky candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food, with eight to ten years of experience cooking in a high-end establishment. You will have the opportunity to create, develop and revise menus that will change four times throughout the year for the restaurant, with an emphasis on local and sustainable products, while continuously seeking out local purveyors and farmers to work with. You will lead the ORU culinary team by maintaining a professional work ethic and displaying exemplary cooking skills. The candidate will promote teamwork between the kitchen and all hotel departments, and will also take active involvement in the hotel’s apprenticeship program, including mentorship of the culinary students.
