Vancouver, BC | Vancouver’s Acorn Restaurant brings home its acclaimed five course vegan tasting menu after five sold out nights at New York City’s Exhibit C. On March 6th, 2016, The Acorn will host Bringing It All Back Home, a single seating dinner tasting menu with wine pairings at its Main St location (3995 Main St). Tickets are extremely limited with only 30 made available for purchase at www.theacornrestaurant.ca for $95 (tax included).

The menu, presented from February 3rd – 7th at Exhibit C in SoHo, was designed by Acorn chef de cuisine Brian Luptak and chef Rob Clarke especially for the New York pop-up and was received with universal praise from guests, critics, and industry professionals. “True to form, we were using what was in season and what we could pick up at the Farmer’s Market on our way to the kitchen. Everything being fresh is critically important and we were lucky enough to have access to great resources in the heart of Manhattan. Some of our local farmers here in Vancouver are growing the same ingredients and we’re really excited to recreate the menu for our friends at home,” says Luptak.

The wine, expertly paired by sommelier Kurtis Kolt, was to most New Yorkers a shocking revelation of BC’s ability to measure up against some of the best labels out there. Although the supreme quality of BC’s wines may come as less of a surprise to local consumers, the five pairings are a superb elevation to the overall experience of the evening.

Bringing It All Back Home will take place on Sunday, March 6th, 2016, beginning at 7pm at The Acorn Restaurant, located at 3995 Main St. Ticket sales are limited to 30 guests and are available for purchase at www.theacornrestaurant.ca.
