Make mornings better. This is the bar crawl for the early birds. Crawl out of bed and on to your mat with The Social Yoga’s secret café crawl series. Each week they’ll hit up a different local spot for an hour of yoga followed by breakfast with some great people. Get outside of your comfort zone and try some new java- who knows, you may find your next go-to spot.

Each week you will get a chance to create tinctures, tonics, or teas to take home. All materials provided- all you need to bring is yourself!

Sign up in advance mandatory. Register here.

NO FUN NOVEMBER
Online

Had a little too much fun this summer? Or maybe you can already see the eggnog and mulled wine that’s just around the corner. Whatever your reason is, The Social Yoga brings you No Fun November.

Don’t call it a cleanse or a yoga challenge- it’s finally getting around to taking that “sober month” you always talked about doing. The only difference is that you’ll have the support of daily emails with yoga videos, guided meditations, journaling prompts, and cheeky motivation.

The month will kick off with a Social Yoga class on November 1st at 7PM. At the end of the month, celebrate with a yoga class and a beer on Sunday December 6th, at 7PM (location TBA).

Misery loves company. Even if you’ve missed the official kick off, it’s not too late to hop on the bandwagon! Register here.

We are a nomadic studio. Breweries, cafes, and galleries are some examples of places we call home. It’s easy to find peace and calm when you’re in the studio-  where’s the zen when you’re in a line for a growler fill on a Friday night? We believe wherever you go, there you are.  And sometimes, it’s better to go where the food is good and the view is fresh.

Check in with our social media feeds to see what we are planning next.

About Social Yoga

DSC_0677

Social Yoga was launched at the end of 2014 as an alternative take on a yoga class experience. In a city full of fitness aficionados, we’re taking on yoga in a different way. We aren’t your everyday yoga class. Literally. Classes are organized by the series- meeting once a week for four weeks. This is yoga for the person who isn’t just a “yogi”- we all have lives and other interests too.

Everyone knows, bigger isn’t better. You aren’t just another member number with us. Class sizes are small, intimate, and conversational which means you get to ask questions and call the shots by deciding what it is you want to get out of the experience.

We bring Yoga down to earth and use it as a way to connect people with cool spaces, other cool people, and most importantly, to connect people to themselves. We call it ‘Therapy that Makes you Sweat”.
