Vancouver’s Top Chefs Gather For “Farms To Forks” Moveable Feast

Want to feast on first-rate food and drink from some of the best restaurants in Vancouver while supporting a great program that helps elementary school kids learn about where their food comes from? Yeah you do! Check this out:

Can you imagine being in the kitchen of one of Vancouver’s best chefs’ while they are preparing gourmet creations for you? Wander through Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts’ classroom kitchens and watch some of Vancouver’s best chefs in action. At From Farms to Forks 6, you can sample food prepared by the chefs from West, Tableau Bar Bistro, Burdock and Co., Homer St. Café, Miku, Campagnolo Roma, and Cinara, as well as 10 other spectacular Vancouver restaurants. Each chef will be paired with a local B.C. grower or producer. We are bringing together some of the city’s most prominent chefs and the region’s best growers and producers for a fun night of tasting plates paired with B.C. wines, beers and cocktails that will be provided by Constellation Brands, Moody Ales, Odd Society Spirits, and The Cascade Room. From Farms to Forks 6 is a fundraiser for Growing Chefs! Chefs for Children’s Urban Agriculture. Growing Chefs! is a non-profit based in Vancouver, B.C. that teaches kids about growing and cooking food by putting chef volunteers into elementary schools. Through hands-on experience, Growing Chefs gets kids excited about eating healthy, delicious food.
