Rebecca Chaperone’s Ice Crystal #13, Hanging Now At Kimoto Gallery

IMG_6193
Rebecca Chaperon is a Vancouver-based painter, illustrator, and all around creative force. Once you have had the pleasure of seeing one of her pieces in person, you will find yourself craving more. To those of you who are familiar with her talent, get to Kimoto Gallery at Granville and 6th Ave for Summer Mix 2 – a packed group exhibition – and feed your addiction. For those of you who are not, welcome to Chaperon Fans Anonymous.

In true summer group exhibition style, there is something for every taste, sensibility, and price point on display. Half of Chaperon’s pieces were already spoken for before the opening event began last week, but Ice Crystal #13 was still dot-less. Its translucent, colour shifting form lures the eye in, and keeps you engaged as you scan the myriad colours against a neutral gray backdrop. A mini oasis for your work space or office.

Artist: Rebecca Chaperon | Piece: Ice Crystal #13, Acrylic on Paper 22” x 15”
Price: $525 | Gallery: Kimoto Gallery (now – August 15)
