The GOODS from Tacofino
Vancouver, BC | Tacofino Cantina is delighted to announce the newest member of the family – White Lightning! The graphically stunning white and black taco truck hits the streets today at the Dunsmuir and Burrard location. After much public online lament, Tacofino has brought its burritos back to Vancouver. The white truck will feature the favorite Fish Burrito as well as our slow-cooked Pork Burrito. The pork will also be served as a Gringa. These will be served alongside the Vegetarian and Vegan Burritos.
New to the menu this fall are the Commissary-favorite Chicken Karaage Taco as well as an inventive twist – the Chicken Karaage Burrito, with rice, cilantro, avocado and the sinfully good Black Chili Mayo. The ubiquitous Fish Taco will also be top of the list and be sure to treat yourself to East Van’s favorite Churro. “We are excited to be back home in our Burrard location” states owner Ryan Spong. “And to see our old friends and regulars downtown.”
The new graphics are the result of Robert Mearns design work, inspired by Lee Robinsong’s original Virgen de Guadalupe painting in Tofino. Tacofino White is open for lunch Monday to Friday 1130am-3pm and is located at Burrard and Dunsmuir St in downtown Vancouver. All the trucks are available for catering and special events. Please visit www.tacofino.com to book it.

About Tacofino
Tacofino was born out of a desire to create a unique dining experience by offering quality, freshness and affordability with an environmental and nutritional conscience. Fast “slow” food is a concept that really appeals to us, so we make everything from scratch and with love, but without the wait. Our menu is inspired by our world travels, taking the Baja-style taco to another level. Our truck has been a phenomenon in Tofino; it is vibrant, bright orange, with local artist Lee Robinsong’s painting of the Virgin de Guadalupe holding a taco. It is an homage to the birthplace of the taco, Mexico and Baja California. We now have trucks in Vancouver and Victoria as well; and most recently, we grew up and opened our new East Van eatery, Tacofino Commissary.
