Earlier this afternoon the Vancouver Sun jumped on last week’s “Harlem Shake” internet dance meme by throwing up their own version to YouTube.

All in good fun. Alas, Harlem residents responded to the craze yesterday in the video below.

Our faves? “stop your bullshit” and “If y’all do that in Harlem, I promise y’all would get hurt”. But nothing touches the young woman with the short black hair in the newsroom video. You can see her working at her desk on the lower right of the frame at the start. Once the bass drops you can find her standing center frame in the background, unimpressed; the only one in on the joke.
