SWAG: Win A Pair Of Tickets To Sunday’s “Joy Of Feeding” Ethnic Comfort Food Fest

This Sunday, June 10th, sixteen home cooks from different ethnic backgrounds will gather to offer their family comfort foods at the 2nd annual international food fair and UBC Farm fundraiser. The countries, regions and ethnicities represented at this year’s event are Sierra Leone, Ghana, Hakka Chinese, Chile, Mexico, Maya (Guatemala), Pakistan, Goa (India), Egypt, Syria, Tsimshian First Nations, Vietnam, Southern Italy, Sweden, and the United Kingdom (not to mention our very own west coast). We have a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky reader who does the following…

1) Like us on Facebook if you haven’t already.

2) Follow @scoutmagazine on Twitter and retweet the following: I’m fixing to win a pair of tickets to the Joy of Feeding at UBC Farm via @scoutmagazine http://wp.me/plxHU-dCg

The winner will be chosen at random and contacted on Saturday afternoon.

PS. If you don’t win, come wander the farm grounds, taste authentic ethnic cuisine, and support a kickass rural-meets-urban icon all at once. You can’t really go wrong. See you there.
