SEEN IN VANCOUVER #348: The Best Sorts Of Things That Good Friends Bring For Dinner

A few weeks ago our out-of-town friends Heidi and Michael showed up unannounced at our doorstep and then then proceeded to drink our booze and eat our food. It was good times, but they felt guilty despite our hospitality. So this time around, tonight, they called ahead and brought with them 5 pizzas and a whole bunch of chicken liver toasts from Nook, six bottles of cold Lagunitas, a young Arbois Poulsard and an aged Martinegra Barbaresco, a two foot tall bottle of Augustijn blond beer from Belgium, a mountain of well dressed greens, plus a decadent “Fuck Yeah” chocolate mousse cake. So it’s totally even stevens.
