Chef Robert Clark Premieres 1st Batch Of Spot Prawns At “C”

Executive Chef Robert Clark has been given the top honour of receiving the first boatload of spot prawns arriving at C Restaurant two full days before any other restaurant in the city. Each year, Vancouver’s local fishermen work into the wee hours to make sure that the city’s restaurants are stocked up with spot prawns, a seasonal and local delicacy.

To celebrate the festival and his limited release, chef de cuisine Quang Dang has created an exclusive six course menu (see below) which will be available this Thursday, May 7th for $79 per person. Throughout the festival the menu will be priced at $109 per person.

Not only is this a unique opportunity for foodies to get their hands on an early batch of spot prawns and sample Quang Dang’s menu, but C will showcase chef Robert Clark and his relationship with the local farmers and fishermen.

Come and enjoy everything from the Spot Prawn Ceviche to the Spot Prawn Sashimi and for dessert, a dark chocolate tartlette with a spot prawn ‘cracker.’
