About The Stable House

Tucked away just off Granville St, The Stable House Bistro is named after the stable houses that used to populate South Granville at the turn of the century. With a nod to modern European wine bars, The Stable House Bistro makes a point of sourcing the best ingredients from local farmers and producers, allowing each dish’s individual flavours to speak for themselves. The menu is designed for sharing, allowing you to sample a variety of snacks and dishes. The signature charcuterie boards are garnished with seasonal condiments made in house, with an eye toward pairing with the perfect glass of wine.

The menu changes frequently, depending on what local farmers are harvesting. Though they might not have the exact dish you loved last time, what it has been replaced with will reflect the very best of the season and BC’s unique local terroir.

At The Stable House, wine is viewed as a necessity, not a luxury. The eclectic wine list is curated by Matthew Landry, one of Canada’s top sommeliers. They currently offer more than a dozen wines by the glass, as well as reserve bottles for the avid wine geek.
