Vancouver, BC | The award-winning Acorn Restaurant is hiring for two full-time positions – Sous Chef and Chef de Partie. For the Sous Chef position we are looking for an individual with the drive to advance into a Chef de Cuisine role. If you are passionate about food, hungry to learn more about vegetable-based cuisine, and a natural leader, please forward your resume. Formal culinary training and fine dining experience essential.
For the Chef de Partie position we are looking for candidates who are dedicated to their craft and keen to learn more about cooking with vegetables. Formal culinary training and fine dining experience is an asset, but not essential. Depending on the position, working hours will range from 10am-2am, with the successful candidate working 5 days a week. Training for both positions begins in early April.

ABOUT THE PARKER
The Parker generates less than one pound of waste in a month and has become a sexy destination for the discerning diner. Two seats at the bar will deliver a ringside view of Curtis Luk delivering his innovative menu whilst Steve delivers dynamite cocktails and expounds on his wine program based on the Columbia Watershed Basin. Open for Dinner only, the little room seeks to accommodate all dietary restrictions with aplomb.
The Parker serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, with drinks until midnight. Reservations are recommended and can be made via theparkervancouver.com or by calling 604 779 3804. Walk-ins are very much welcome.
