by Robyn Yager | We’re bringing out the jackets this week. For a lovely late summer evening out for a pretzel board at Bestie and some ice cream at Earnest, here’s an outfit of the day: Waxed denim jacket bought at Mango in the Philippines, green Free People dress (thrifted), Olivia Harris canvas and leather bag, sandals from Winners, Ray Bans, Revlon Red nailpolish, Marc Jacobs Honey rollerball, Revlon lip crayon in Crush, and August Vogue featuring Daft Punk. Not pictured is one scoop of London Fog Earnest Ice Cream – get up to 3992 Fraser Street asap and try it as there’s nothing like it!
by Robyn Yager | Today I was forced to revert back (or spring forward) to Fall fashion with a seersucker gingham button up from the J.Crew outlet, a Wolf Circus tassel necklace from Board of Trade Co., cropped Seven For All Mankind denim (Winners), a Goorin Bros grey felt hat, Chanel lipstick in Coromandel, Essie’s Little Brown Dress, Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Au So Fresh perfume, a little John Steinbeck, and because I’m not giving up on summer quite yet, my trusty Saltwater Sandals.
by Robyn Yager | Wilfred black pants (Front & Company), geometric printed Marc by Marc Jacobs top (Front & Company), navy leather bag from a boutique, Clinique lip crayon in Mightiest Maraschino, Vera Wang’s Lovestruck perfume, the spring/summer edition of Montecristo (in case the conversation turns dull) and black suede Manolo Blahniks. Not pictured: Chambar’s canard et chèvre and a glass of the La Frenz ‘Amos Vineyard’ ’11 Pinot Noir.
In hopes that it will clear up just a little bit for today’s Jamcouver, here’s and OOTD inspired by the Vancouver skate, arts and culture festival. Citizens of Humanity cropped light wash jeans (thrifted), Rag & Bone trilby from Charlie & Lee on Union Street, Dolce Vita sandals, Elizabeth & James shades, T by Alexander Wang tank (Turnabout), Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume, Benefit’s red lipstick in Flirt, and blue leather bag from unknown boutique.
Thrifted Tommy Hilfiger button-up, thrift white shorts, Elizabeth & James shades, Paris Vogue, Rimmel lip laquer, Essie nailpolish, navy blue Supergas, and a favourite beer: North Coast Brewing Co.’s “Acme IPA”.

by Robyn Yager | Something about floral prints immediately brings cruise ship tourist attire to mind. With all the summer activities happening in the city, I don’t mind coming off as one of them. Leather shorts (Zara), navy blue chain purse from unknown boutique, vintage pink floral top (hand-me-down from Mom), notebook from Woo2CU, Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses, Lamy Safari fountain pen, the BEST blue nail polish (Sally Hansen Pacific Blue), and my trusty white Saltwater sandals.
by Robyn Yager | Thrifted leather pencil skirt, thrifted dark grey t-shirt, dad’s gold chain, current reading material (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns), oversized Ray Ban Wayfarers, grey Zara studded heels, 3.1 Philip Lim Scout drawstring bag.

A more casual getup, with heels. Cynthia Rowley plain white t-shirt (from Winners), black thrifted Levis converted to cut off shorts, Tahari heels, the June issue of Vogue, Marc Jacobs sunglasses, and most important – coffee (cold brew from Revolver).
by Robyn Yager | Today’s outfit of the day was inspired by a favourite childhood hero and the end of May’s crappy weather (as in may it end because it’s June now): Mickey Mouse crew neck sweater found at Used on Granville, thrifted Citizens of Humanity cropped jeans, gold studded Steve Madden smoking slippers (found at Winners), “He Said She Said #TALKISCHEAP” Iphone case by Kate Spade (found at Winners), Michael Kors beanie because May was that cold (Winners, yet again), black leather belt, and finally – to aid me throughout the day – Ethiopia Adulina from Bows X Arrows Coffee Roasters (made into an iced coffee). Wear something warmis akin to this and the fates will dictate sunshine for a week.
