FOOD CORRESPONDENT | Posted July 23rd, 2011 | While Scout does have a heavy focus on food and restaurants, we feel there is room for more and so we’re currently looking to bring on a regular food writer/restaurant reviewer. The successful applicant will be mature with at least five years of experience in the food trade, an intimate familiarity with the current lay of Vancouver’s dining land, a willingness to attend occasional media events/dinners, an affinity for photography and the ability to string coherent sentences together in a timely fashion. ART & CULTURE CORRESPONDENT | Posted July 21st, 2011 | Are you passionate about local arts and culture and desirous of an outlet to express your affections for all things creative and interesting? We’re looking for an editorial intern to cover the local art beat. This writer should be knowledgeable about Vancouver’s art scene and open to the prospect of representing Scout at openings and cultural events across the city.
