Tuc Craft Kitchen Celebrates Summer with New Menus and Special Drink Features

Vancouver, BC | With summer in full swing, Gastown’s Tuc Craft Kitchen has unveiled an updated menu of comfort-food favourites as well as a new, thirst-quenching lineup of cocktail and wine features.

NEW DINNER MENU | Available seven days a week from 5 p.m., Tuc’s new dinner menu includes highlights such as baked ricotta (housemade ricotta, warm olives, sheep’s milk parmesan); sunset salad (baby shrimp, strawberries, tender greens, lemon vinaigrette, carrot lime purée); lentil hash mole verde (black lentils, sweet peas, roasted mushrooms, corn, pea greens); ribs ‘n fries (orange & jalapeño glazed side ribs, curly yam fries, red slaw); and seafood étouffée (BC mussels & manila clams, prawns, squid, creole tomato sauce, dirty rice).

NEW BRUNCH MENU | Tuc has also introduced new dishes to its brunch menu available Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The new additions include a chorizo scramble (two scrambled eggs, chorizo sausage, jalapeño roma, ciabatta, greens with lemon vinaigrette), lentil hash (two poached eggs, double smoked bacon, black lentils, mole verde, nugget potatoes) and the loco moco (dirty rice, three-meat patty, swiss cheese, onion gravy, two sunny eggs).

ODD SOCIETY SUNDAYS | Throughout the day on Sundays, the Gastown hotspot will showcase small-batch spirits produced by its neighbours at Odd Society Distillery during its Any Given Sunday promotion that offers five signature cocktails for $10 each:

– Bud Up (Odd Society Mongrel white whisky, Odd Society cassis, Odd Society bittersweet vermouth, hibiscus team, rose water);
– Timeless Pear (Odd Society Mongrel white whisky, pear liqueur, pear green tea, lime, tarragon bitters);
– Paper Plane (Wild Turkey 101 bourbon, Odd Society Mia Amata, Aperol, lemon);
– Flowers for Algernon (Odd Society Wallflower gin, St. Germaine elderflower liqueur, lavender, grapefruit, lemon);
– Powell St. Swizzle (Odd Society Oaken gin, Odd Society bittersweet vermouth, Rootside ginger beer, lime, bitters).

ROSÉ-ALL-DAY MONDAYS | On Mondays, Tuc will get the week off to a rosy start by hosting Rosé-All-Day Mondays, featuring a variety of pink wines beginning at $7.50 a glass and $25 a bottle. Wines on offer include BC standouts like Bella Wines’ Buddha’s Blend Sparkling, Sperling Vineyards’ Organic Pinot Noir and Culmina Family Estate Winery’s Saignée, and international rosés such as Maison De Grand Esprit’s ‘L’être Magique’ (France) and Bodegas Trapiche’s ‘Astica’ Malbec (Argentina).
