JJ Bean Celebrates 22 Years with Customer Appreciation Week (Starts Today)

The Goods from JJ Bean

Vancouver, BC | This week JJ Bean Coffee Roasters is thanking their customers for over two decades and two cities’ worth of continued loyalty with its Anniversary Celebration, running Monday December 3rd through Saturday December 8th.

Things get rolling with 50% off Cold Brew cartons. Freshly roasted in small batches at JJ Bean in Vancouver, the coarsely ground coffee is slow steeped with cold filtered water for up to 20 hours to deliver a complex, low-acid coffee with maximum flavour. Grown at Carmo Estate in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, JJ Bean Cold Brew Coffee has a naturally sweet taste reminiscent of caramel, cocoa, and nuts. Delicious on its own, over ice, or with cream; amazing with egg nog and rum.

Every season, Production Bakery Manager Julie-Mélanie Trottier and her team bring new items to the menu. This Tuesday you can try two new delectable creations for 50% off. The vegan-friendly Beyond® Breakfast Wrap is filled with soft tofu scramble, Beyond Meat® Italian Sausage Crumbles, potato red pepper hash, and mature cheddar-style vegan cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. And the irresistible Rhubarb Danish folds a mouth-watering rhubarb compote into JJ’s flaky butter croissant dough, finished with sliced almonds and a decadent vanilla glaze.

On Wednesday, every JJ Bean barista is on a mission to share the good news of coffee-focused traditional beverages: cappuccinos, macchiatos, cortados and espressos are just $2.

JJ Bean’s world-famous, fan-favourite promotion runs from Thursday through Saturday this year, with a +30% bonus top-up on gift card purchases over $20.

Every JJ Bean café offers seasonal single-origin coffees and signature blends on French press and drip-filter options, as well as a host of classic espresso-forward beverages. Coffee is roasted to order every day in Vancouver and Toronto, and each café makes its food offerings fresh every morning. Founded in East Vancouver in 1996, John Neate Jr. established JJ Bean Coffee Roasters to honour people through great coffee, food, spaces, and service. Twenty-two years later there are now nineteen Vancouver locations and four newly opened cafés in Toronto, all guided by the same key principle: the best taste wins.
