Burnaby, BC | The holiday festivities are back at Chez Christophe Chocolaterie and Patisserie (4717 Hastings Street) with an indulgent presentation of bright, playful Christmas sweets. A promise to delight, this year’s treats include Chez Christophe’s signature Holiday Showpieces, Chocolate Lollipops, Holiday Truffles, Advent Calendar, Dragée, and Bûche de Noël. And, a special new feature this season: Chez Christophe invites budding chocolatiers to hone their craft with DIY Chocolate Bark Kits.

“Our team is excited to embrace the holiday season once again with our Burnaby Heights community,” says Christophe Bonzon, co-owner, head pastry chef and chocolatier of Chez Christophe, “We simply adore experimenting with holiday flavours, and being creative with our entire selection. This year, we are especially looking forward to sharing our family’s fun holiday tradition of making chocolate bark with our customers in a unique experience that welcomes us into their homes.”

The DIY Chocolate Bark Kits ($29.95) come in two perfect holiday flavours: Candy Cane and Spiced Hazelnut. It is packaged with all the ingredients necessary to make the chocolate bark, giving customers an easy way to make their own treat. It also makes a wonderful gift.

Chez Christophe’s signature Holiday Showpieces this year feature four spirited designs: an Ornament ($15.95), Carousel ($33.95), Snowman ($29.95), and Reindeer ($39.95).

Chocolate Lollipops are the perfect stocking stuffer with a Christmas Tree ($2.45), Reindeer ($2.45), and Snowman ($3.55) holiday designs.

A divine trio of Holiday Truffles ($6.45) celebrate the warm and comforting flavours of Mulled Wine, Apple Cider, and Gingerbread.

Available mid-November, the classic Advent Calendar ($29.95) returns to provide daily delights throughout the holiday season until the most magical day of the year.

Sprinkled with caramelized hazelnuts, the beautifully spiced Apple Pie Bark ($6-$15) is presented in a variety of bags to satisfy every sweet tooth’s desires.

Bursting with flavours, this holiday collection of of Dragée ($11.95) is sure to delight with Blueberry and Dark Chocolate, Macadamia and Milk Chocolate, Pecan and Maple Syrup, and Hazelnut with Cranberry White Chocolate.

This season’s Bûches de Noël come in three distinct profiles: La Chocolatée is the classic Trio de Chocolat featuring three layers of dark, milk and white chocolate mousse with a heart of raspberry confit on a black forest sponge; Santa’s Coffee Break beautifully combines a chestnut sponge, cappuccino mousse, cinnamon nameleka and chocolate shavings with a chestnut puree; and A Slippery Slope is a harmonious composition of matcha namelaka, matcha chiffon, lemon yuzu mousse and white chocolate sesame crunch. Bûches de Noël are only available for pick-up on December 23 and 24, 2018.
