Grounds For Coffee Launches Rainbow ‘Pride Packs’ For Pride Festival Weekend

The GOODS from Grounds For Coffee

Vancouver, BC | Home of the world’s best cinnamon buns, local bakery Grounds for Coffee is launching rainbow “Pride Packs” for three days only from August 3 – 5 to celebrate Pride Festival. What’s more, you can feel good about your purchase because 50% of all Pride Pack sales will be donated to Qmunity and the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation.

This is a cause that hits close to home for owners Dan and Carolyn Hilton who have committed to making Grounds For Coffee a registered VPD Safe Place for the LGBTQ2S+ community.

“Many family members, customers, staff and friends whom we love and respect are part of the LGBTQ2S+ community and it’s close to our hearts. We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to celebrate amongst friends and raise funds for these two worthwhile charities.”

Pride Packs will sell for $18.00 (tax included) and contain six full-sized cinnamon buns, each iced in a unique and fabulous colour. All dyes are created using 100% natural extracts, with no artificial additives or colours. Pre-orders are recommended and can be made over the phone at (604) 224-5282 or in person at our bakery from 7AM to 6PM every day.

About Grounds for Coffee | Grounds for Coffee was a child of the ‘90s – minus the jelly shoes. In 1992, President and Founder, Dan Hilton, decided to make a 180-degree turn in his career: from banking to baking. He started Grounds for Coffee in 1993, as Vancouver’s coffee culture was beginning to pick up steam, and settled in to the business of developing a knock-out cinnamon bun recipe from scratch. And that’s exactly what he did. 25 years later, Grounds for Coffee sells its cinnamon buns, which are still made by hand with locally- sourced ingredients, to locations across B.C. and Alberta.
