The GOODS from Bells and Whistles

Vancouver, BC | Bells and Whistles — the exciting new casual dining and beer hall concept from the Gooseneck Hospitality team behind Wildebeest, Bufala and Lucky Taco — is joining forces with an award-winning array of local and far-flung Canadian breweries for an exclusive series of events and tap takeovers taking place throughout February and March.

Bells and Whistles’ upcoming lineup of suds-centric events includes:

Saturday, February 24, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Caffeine meets craft beer when Bells and Whistles hosts the official after-party for Vancouver’s inaugural Hopwired Festival, which will brew up a series of unique collaborations between local craft breweries and coffee roasters at the Croatian Cultural Centre. To mark the occasion, Bells and Whistles will begin pouring a series of festival collaboration beers after the big event as well as some refreshing palate-cleansing session brews to set the table for the next round.

Tuesday, February 27, 11:30 a.m. onwards
Award-winning Squamish upstart Backcountry Brewing will barrel down the Sea-to-Sky Highway to stage a guest tap takeover at Bells and Whistles that spotlights such homespun brews as Ridgerunner Pilsner, Widowmaker IPA, Trailbreaker Pale Ale, Secret Handshake IPA and its Imperial Stout collaboration with Twin Sails Brewing as well as other yet-to-be-announced gems sourced straight from the winner of the 2017 BC Beer Awards trophy for Rookie of the Year.

Tuesday, March 6, 11:30 a.m. onwards
Bells and Whistles will import the best of ‘la belle province’ to BC when they welcome European brewing-inspired Brasserie Dunham of Montreal for an exclusive tap takeover that will spotlight Dunham’s signature departure from modern American brewing styles. The all-day event will highlight a series of unique brews such as Le Quench du Soif ‘Réserve’ IPA, Ping Pong Wizard Saison, Sirkawa Costa Rica Stout, Leo’s Early Breakfast IPA, Cyclope ‘Lambda’ IPA, Viti Vini Vici Saison and LaPatt Porter Robuste and more.

Tuesday, March 13, 11:30 a.m. onwards
The tiny Dieu du Ciel! brew-pub gets a big spotlight when Bells and Whistles welcomes the Montreal microbrasserie to Vancouver for a tap takeover that will feature a fresh selection of Dieu du Ciel! beers including Aphrodisiaque Cocoa and Vanilla Stout, Fumisterie Red Ale, Rosée d’Hibiscus Witbier, Mile End Saison, Blanche Neige Belgian-style Witbier, Genèse Apricot Tripel, Solstice d’Hiver ‘Bourbon’ Barley Wine and Péché Mortel ‘Bourbon’ Imperial Stout.

“It’s going to be a crazy month of team-ups with some of the best local and Montreal-based breweries we could pull together,” says Bells and Whistles co-owner Nick Miller. “We’re excited to give our guests a taste of some unique and delicious beers, while showcasing the best of what’s happening in the craft beer community not just locally but across the country.”

Bells and Whistles recently bolstered its lineup of classic Americana roadside fare by adding weekday lunch and weekend and holiday brunch service to its menu, which can be enjoyed in the restaurant’s expansive dining room or via take-out for those on the go.
