Main Street’s Nomad Reveals Three Course Valentine’s Day Menu

The GOODS from Nomad

Vancouver, BC | Voted 2017’s Best Restaurant for a First Date, Nomad is the ideal venue for the most romantic evening of the year. Enjoy a three course meal prepared by Chefs Ryan Reed and Scott Swanson with optional wine or cocktail pairings dreamed up by Bar Manager Matt Benevoli.

After enjoying the house-baked sourdough bread, the first course is a choice of aerated pine mushroom and sunchoke soup finished with black truffles and creme fraiche, or a dungeness crab and humpback shrimp terrine finished with a dill pickle sabayon.

For the main course, there are three choices: a smoked lamb neck fillet with buttermilk corn grits, a cast-seared Pacific lingcod with salted cod and potato croquettes or an acquerello risotto with mokum carrots and black trumpet mushrooms.

Finishing off the meal is a citrus sponge cake with milk chocolate mousse, mandarin curd and dark chocolate aero.

Food is priced at $60 per person and seatings are available at 6 and 8:15pm. As always, the kitchen is completely nut-free and the chefs are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Reservations are required and can be made through the Nomad website, the Yelp app or by phone at 604-708-8525.
