Cibo & Uva Primed for Holiday Season with Special Feasts, NYE Celebrations

Vancouver, BC | Cibo Trattoria and UVA Wine & Cocktail Bar will get guests into the festive spirit and flip the calendar to 2018 in fine style by hosting a series of holiday dinners and New Year’s Eve events this December.

Cibo Trattoria will kick off the Christmas season by presenting a pair of ‘Feast of Seven Fishes’ dinners on Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 24 and prepare partygoers for end-of-year festivities by hosting a six-course New Year’s Eve Dinner on Sunday, December 31 while sister establishment UVA Wine & Cocktail Bar will usher in the new year by combining Cibo’s authentic Italian cuisine with UVA’s casual elegance during a whimsical ‘Alice in Winter Wonderland’ party that same evening.

‘FEAST OF SEVEN FISHES’
CIBO TRATTORIA

On Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 24, Cibo Trattoria will make spirits bright by hosting a pair of ‘Feast of Seven Fishes’ culinary events in the restaurant’s intimate dining room. Both dinners feature a menu comprising seven courses that showcase the best fresh, local seafood and ingredients available in dishes such as BC Spot Prawns with Calabrian Chilli and Herb Crusted Sea Scallops, Pan Roasted Sablefish, and Grilled Tuna Tagliatelle.
$88 per person, plus taxes and gratuity / $163 per person (++) with wine pairings

NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER
CIBO TRATTORIA

On Sunday, December 31 with seatings at 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 8 to 10:30 p.m., Cibo will begin the march to the midnight hour with a celebratory culinary experience that includes a gin-based aperitivo cocktail and a six-course set menu developed by Chef Josh Gonneau. Highlights include Saffron and Maple Cured Albacore Tuna, Pumpkin and Goat Cheese Stuffed Ravioli, Beef Tenderloin & BC Spot Prawns, and Pan Roasted Bella Coola Salmon.
$98 per person plus taxes and gratuity / $176 per person (++) with wine pairings

ALICE IN WINTER WONDERLAND
UVA WINE & COCKTAIL BAR

Revelers can take a trip down the rabbit hole on Sunday, December 31 at 7:30 p.m. when award-winning UVA Bar Manager Sabrine Dhaliwal and staff play host to an Alice-in-Winter-Wonderland-themed New Year’s Eve bash that features a trio of Wonderland-themed cocktails, a sit-down dinner menu including Mushroom Fritti with chive oil, black garlic and balsamic, Braised Rabbit Cannelloni with rabbit consommé, ricotta salata and roasted squash, Tea Party Panna Cotta, late-night snacks, champagne sabering, and the live jazz stylings of James Danderfer.
